AI labels — for tracks, artwork and every contributor
Say exactly where AI tools were used, so the stores receive accurate data.
The label is set right in the release card:
- for a track — separately for the recording and the lyrics
- for contributors — next to their role
For now this data goes to Yandex Music only — in early September labeling became part of the store’s official rules. Here is how the service describes them:
Yandex Music relies on the data you entered at upload, not on its own automatic detection. The “Fully AI” status applies to that specific recording only, not to the artist’s profile as a whole.
We ask you to treat these changes carefully and label what you deliver accurately — that is what keeps the streaming services from applying sanctions.
Artists no longer double up, and their cards are easier to work with
Main and featured artists no longer need duplicating — enter them once.
Search, roles and adding new artists are gathered in one place, and the card links are still set in the artist’s profile.
For a debut release you can request new cards on all stores in one click, or pick a single store and request a card there only.
The profile is created automatically the moment the first release opens.
You can request an artist card through the chat with your label manager. That lets you shape the profile ahead of time and get the release shown in Yandex Music’s “Upcoming release” block.
- The system checks the link format at once and points out a mistake
- If your account already has an artist with the same name, the system warns you before saving
Useful updates for everyday work
UPC & ISRC checks
The code format is checked as you type: ISRC — 12 characters · UPC — 12 or 13 digits.
Typos are highlighted at once — the system shows the right format. No code yet? Press “Assign a new code”: it is generated automatically once moderation is passed.
Filter by opening date in the daily stats dashboard
Pick a day or a period under “Opening date”, and the stats show only the releases published on that date.
The dashboard itself runs faster and smoother now.
A complete metadata export
The label copy now carries labeling fields and track durations — everything you need to hand over to partners.
Where to find it: “Actions” → “Download metadata”.
One-click copying
Copy titles, codes and contributors quickly.
Titles come in two formats: with the artists or without. The system remembers your choice for next time.
What else changed
- The language list now includes Armenian and Tajik
- Contributor roles now include vocalist and mastering engineer
